Miga & Stegehuis almighty in Ruili
Myagmarsuren Baasaankhuu and Annemiek Stegehuis continue to dominate our Granfondo Yunnan. Last year’s overall winners both won the Prologue TT yesterday in Mangshi and today they also proved strongest on the first regular stage from Mangshi to Ruili over a distance of 103 km. Miga outfoxed his three break-away companions Erdenebat Bilguunjargal, Wu Yunfei and Josh Bauer in the final 2 km. Stegehuis was the only woman who managed to attach herself to a big group of fast male riders . She took 9 minutes today on her rivals for the GC, such as Chelsie Tan, Chi Zhaoyuan and Marg Fedyna.
