GF Yunnan 2020: All lights are green

The  2020 Colourful Yunnan Granfondo Cycling Festival remains scheduled for 7-14 November. As China along with several other countries are currently aiming to contain the spread of the corona virus, we request for your understanding that news updates are scarse for the time being. Nevertheless, there is no reason to assume a cancellation of the event right now. As every year, registration for the Granfondo Yunnan will immediately follow the conclusion of the necessary paperwork with local authorities, which typically means late June/early July. However, the team of Nordic Ways is hopeful that this year we can open the online registration earlier. 

It is envisaged that the event programme will again see the start in Mangshi, Dehong Prefecture, and the finish in famous mountain tourism city Lijiang. The technical details for 2020 will become available during and after our technical mission in May. For sure there will be amendments to the six stages, but nevertheless you can take the 2019 programme as a useful guideline on what to expect in November.
