Update: we are still ON as scheduled

As the world continues to cope with the corona pandemic, there have been positive signs for a return to some kind of normal life in several Asian countries including China. Following discussions with the relevant authority in Yunnan Province, we would like to emphasise that the Granfondo Yunnan event remains on schedule for 7-14 November 2020. We cannot yet provide any further details on the precise look of all six stages, but as we mentioned in our latest statement back in February, you can take the 2019 programme as guideline. It is expected that all the same cities will play host again in November, unless unforeseen circumstances force us to go elsewhere. Obviously, it has not been possible to perform an initial technical team mission this spring. As Yunnan’s famous rainy season is now approaching, we thank you for your understanding that the precise route info will therefore be published later this year.

Information about the opening of registration and potential new conditions will be announced in due course. At present, we hope to be able to open the books as usual early July. Again, please bear with us should there be any delay with that.
