Check the five course maps for 2024

The 11th edition of our event features three new cities and five completely new stages. The annual wet season has again wrecked several sections of the race courses, but road repairs are ongoing and re-routes have been designed where necessary. Below are the five race courses for long distance and short distances categories in Dehong-Mangshi, Baoshan-Tengchong, Lincang-Fengqing, Pu’er-Simao and Xishuangbanna-Jinghong.

As previously announced, this year’s new programme is certainly one for climbers. This is southern Yunnan, after all, it’s a mountainous region. Especially the long distance stages should therefore not be underestimated in terms of physical and mental challenge, and in terms of technicality in a few cases. There’s long descents with several switchbacks and sometimes rather narrow roads. If you have no experience in riding on mountain roads, we advise to stick to the easier short distance category. For those with experience, get ready for an incredible week! This is Granfondo cycling, pure sang.

Please note that the below race courses may still be amended, subject to the road repairs that are ongoing or that have been requested by the race technical team. Therefore, we are not (yet) releasing any GPX files. Besides, as always and especially in Yunnan, it’s the course markings and the marshals that participants should follow, not the GPX.
