Read MoreThe last two stages of the 2019 Granfondo Yunnan take place in the classic and popular tourism destinations Dali and Lijiang on 8 and 9 November. The Dali stage goes all around Erhai Lake with its stunning mountain backdrop. New this year is the inclusion of a moderate 2 km climb after km 23 (i.e. after the short distance turnabout). It’s a new private road that goes up to offer an awesome panoramic view of the lake and the mountains behind.

At present, there’s little changes to what has been communicated before. The most significant amendments are as usual in Tengchong for the Along Gaoligong stage on Wednesday, 6 November. This is the area where the summer rains create most havoc.

Read MoreWe are happy to announce that La Ronde Tahitienne in French Polynesia is a new partner event of our Granfondo Yunnan Festival! The 9th edition of this exotic cycling event in the Pacific will take place on Sunday, 17 May 2020.
La Ronde Tahitienne is a granfondo event of max 110 km with 1500 metres of elevation gain, and has seen several stars of the cycling world taking part in the event over the past eight years. The race is also part of the Grand Trophee in France, a popular circuit of several similar cycling events a year.
